I want to take both KCTCS and EKU courses during my next term.
Concurrent enrollment opportunities are designed keep you on track for both your KCTCS degree and your EKU Major. Checking this box will prompt EKU professional transfer staff to review and confirm your ability to register at both institutions for the upcoming term. Not all students need to concurrently enroll every term. You will be asked about your future plans every semester you're active in Colonel Connection.
I want access to EKU Campus Recreation and E3 events (Eastern Experience fee required, $175/semester).
The Eastern Experience fee is paid by all on-campus EKU students for access to
EKU Campus Recreation
and certain special events on-campus. This is optional for Colonel Connection students, but it may be a great opportunity for those who can regularly access the Richmond campus before their full transfer.
EKU & KCTCS Agreement
I agree that I will adhere to the Code of Conduct set forth in the
Eastern Kentucky University Student Handbook.
I also agree that I will remain in good academic standing in all courses taken at the undergraduate level.
I agree that all college level coursework, regardless of institution, will be submitted to EKU for inclusion in my degree audit.
I understand and consent to the sharing of academic records between EKU and KCTCS. I understand that courses taken at KCTCS and EKU may be used to inform and complete degree requirements and opportunities at either institution.
I also understand that access to my EKU DegreeWorks audit is through the EKUDirect student portal and that I must activate my EKU student email through MyEKU. Further, I will check my EKU email on a regular basis or setup an automated redirect to my preferred email account to receive updates about the program.
I understand that if I need to enroll in a course at EKU prior to transferring as a full-time student that I should contact the Admissions & Transfer Center for assistance and follow appropriate policies regarding sharing of financial assistance through a Consortium Agreement.
I understand that my continued enrollment in the program and at EKU is contingent upon the accuracy of the information I have provided and my meeting the above requirements. I understand that enrollment in the program does not guarantee admission to an academic program that has specific admission requirements.
I understand that my failure to enroll in consecutive semesters (excluding summer or winter) at KCTCS may result in my suspension from the program unless I have obtained prior authorization from my EKU transfer advisor. I also understand that I may be expected to submit an official KCTCS transcript at the time of my enrollment in EKU courses, and that I will attend EKU in the immediate Fall or Spring semester following my graduation from KCTCS.
By typing my name below, I am indicating that I understand and accept this agreement and authorize the release of my academic transcript between the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) and Eastern Kentucky University for review through my enrollment in the Colonel Connection program. This also serves as my graduation application for an associates degree from KCTCS if I meet the requirement via reverse transfer.
